1. Ingredients:
– Sticky rice: 0.3kg
– Green bean: 0.08kg
– Ripe momordica: 0.15kg
– Sugar: 15g
– Liquid lard: 30g
– Rice wine (about 5ml), salt, water
2. Instructions:
Soak split green beans in cold water for 6 hours, remove the husk then discard crunchy green beans.
Soak washed sticky rice in water for 8 hours then wash under running cold water and strain off; sprinkle rice with salt and toss lightly then add green beans and blend well.
Knead rice wine with the aril and seeds of momordica and blend with mixture of rice and green beans, then steam.
When sticky rice is nearly cooked, sprinkle with liquid lard, add sugar and mix well. When sticky rice is cooked, remove the seeds of momordica.
