VietnamSurprise – Follow the recipe below for making delicious roasted chicken dish!
– Young hen: 1 (1.2kg)
– Old ginger: 10g
– Shallot: 100g
– Salt, sugar, pepper, glutamate, annatto oil, soy sauce, garlic cloves, wine, sesame oil and lard
Cut the hen into 4; use the point of the knife to jab on the hen meat. Marinate the meat with 2 spoons of ginger wine (smashed ginger + wine) + 1 teaspoon of salt + ½ teaspoon of pepper + 1 spoon of annatto oil + 2 spoons of soy sauce + 1 spoon of sugar + 1 spoon of sesame oil. Mix well. Let stand 1 hour before roasting
Clean and drain the shallot. Chop the white and green parts separately, fry quickly each.
Place the hen on the grill to broil on charcoal, turn regularly and sprinkle the marinated liquid on the meat to make the meat more seasoned.
Place the hen on the plate then sprinkle the fried shallot on. Serve with the lettuce or pickle. Use with soy sauce or salt + pepper and lemon.
