“Lá Cẩm” tree
“Lá Cẩm” is the low grasses with 40-50 cm tall and has many branches. Trunk of a tree has 1-2mm in diameter.
The leaves have ovate shape, flower cluster at the top, pale purple petals. “Lá Cẩm” tree grows wild or is cultivated for getting the purple from leaves to dye sticky rice or Vietnamese cakes, this is a tree was used for food colored dying and non-toxic.
