Yang Bay Waterfall – The ecotourism destination for travellers

If travel to Nha Trang tourist will enjoy swimming, scuba diving, exploring the marine world or mud bathing, however, tourist should also consider eco-tourism and the hot spring at Yang Bay Waterfall tourist area.

Yang Bay waterfall located in Khanh Hoa province, about 40 km west of Nha Trang City heading on the road towards Dalat City, covers about 596 hectares and it belongs to Khanh Viet Company. Yang Bay is charming due to its mysterious primeval forest and unique cultures of ethnic Raglai people.

From Nha Trang City, tourists can take a taxi or travel company bus at a package (price of VND420,000/ person including lunch) or you can travel by Motobike (very interesting). If choose bus to travel, it will pick up tourists at 8 a.m. at the hotel and will take them for an all day excursion. If travel by motobike (or car by themselves), tourist can buy entrance tickets at VND 80,000 each/ person, or VND 120,000 if you want bathing in the hot spring and VND 180,000 for a VIP ticket with a tour guide included.

In Yang Bay Waterfall tourist erea, tourists can enjoy activities such as: ostrich riding (VND 50,000 for five minutes), teddy catching, pig racing, wooden boat cruising or chicken fighting… Finally, you should visit rose garden and experience the beauty of nature.

One of activities in Yang Bay is learning about local culture at a display house on ethnic musical instruments then enjoy ethnic musical show such as: instruments of stone, T’rung and Chapi.

If want to try local specialties, tourists can go to the floating Dao Ngoc Restaurant, in this restaurant travellers could enjoy good dishes made of crocodiles and ostriches.

Tourist also should try is taking a bath under the hot springs at around 40 degrees Celsius, it soothe any tiredness after a long day.

Lastly, if travellers are the believer in god you can visit a giant tree called Moc Than (God tree) where they leave their prayers and hopes for the future.
