There may be times when you feel you know the content of a Microsoft Certification Exam so well that you don’t even have to prepare for it. Is this ever really the case? Take a closer look at some indicators that you might be ready for Microsoft Certification Exams without preparation and what they really indicate.
What If You Ace All The Practice Tests?
If you take a few practice tests and ace every one, can you skip the studying? You can, but it is not recommended. Practice tests aren’t perfect replicas of the real exam, and you may get lucky with practice tests that cover what you know and don’t cover what you don’t. If the real exam covers a few of those topics that you aren’t as familiar with, then your score could drop quickly.
What If You Already Know It All?
Some IT professionals insist that they already know it all. The problem is that you can’t truly know if you know it all until you go over all of it in at least a cursory manner. If you go light on preparation and find that you know all the content, then you can go lighter on the preparation, but you still have to do at least this much prep work.
What If You Don’t Mind Failing?
If you don’t mind getting a failing score, then by all means, you can take Microsoft Certification Exams without any preparation. Just know that this is the likeliest outcome if you dare to go this route.
