How to cook stir-fried pork balls with vegetable

The recipe below will help you to make a delicious dish of stir-fried pork balls with vegetable.

1. Ingredients:

– Baby corn: 100g

– Ground pork: 300g

– Green Cauliflower (or Broccoli) (washed, cut into small sprigs): 100g

– Potato (peeled and cut into large strips): 200g

– Carrot (peeled and cut into large strips): 200g 

– Onion (cut into 8 equal parts): 2

– Minced shallots: 2 tablespoons

– Garlic (crushed): 1 teaspoon

– Stock granules (or Salt: 1 teaspoon): 3 teaspoons

– Cooking oil: 5 tablespoons

– Scallion: 3 sprigs

– Cilantro: 2 sprigs

2. Instructions:

Mix ground pork, minced shallots, a teaspoon of stock granules (or 1/2 teaspoon of salt) and 1/2 teaspoon of ground pepper. Use hands to clench the mixture into small balls.

Blanch baby corn, broccoli and carrots. Add to cold water. Pick up and drain them.

Heat a skillet with 2 tablespoons of cooking oil. Add pork balls to fry to a golden color.

Heat another skillet with 3 tablespoons of cooking oil. Add potatoes to fry to a golden color. Pick up and place on a blotting-paper to drain.

Drop 2 crushed cloves of garlic to brown. Add baby corn, broccoli, carrots and stir-fry over medium heat for about 5 minutes. Season with stock granules and salt. Then, add potatoes, pork balls and onions to stir-fry together with the other ingredients. Remove from heat. Serve on a dish. Sprinkle with pepper. Garnish with cilantro leaves and scallions.
