How to cook abalone in curry sauce

VietnamSurpriseBy following the vegetarian recipe below you can make a delicious “abalone in curry sauce” dish for your family.

1. Ingredients:

– Gluten: 600 g

– Curry powder: 1 tbsp

– Salt: 2/3 tsp

– Light soy: 1 tbsp 

– Pinch of pepper

– Sugar: ¾ tbsp

– Flavor essence (optional): 1/2 tsp 

– Superiors stock (or water): 1.5 cups

– Malt sugar (for glazing): 2 tbsp

– Ingredient for making sauce:

+ Cornflour: ½ tbsp

+ Water: 2 tbsp

2. Instructions:

Boil 4 cups of water with 1 tsp salt. Add in gluten balls and bring to boil. Cook for 5 minutes. Drain, cut into thick slices when cool.

Deep fry the prepared gluten balls in hot oil until slightly golden. Drain.

Saute curry powder with 3 tbsp oil, add in seasoning. Simmer over low heat until malt sugar is dissolved. Add in gluten balls and cook for about 15 minutes unitl sauce is thick. Add in sauce. Serve hot or cold.
