Pha Din mountain pass is located in Dien Bien province, if traveling by car from Ha Noi to Dien Bien province, tourists will pass 32 further to the wonderful street of Pha Din mountain pass.
In Thai ethnic language, Pha Din means Heaven and Earth. In the past, there was a dispute over the border between the 2 province of Son La and Lai Chau, the dispute was solved by a horse race. From the 2 sides of the mountain pass horses rushed oppositely, the meeting place would be the border.
With an altitude of over 1,000 m, the Pha Din mountain pass meanders across the mountains with sleep cliffs on one side, and deep abysses on the other side. When passing the Pha Din, visitors will discover a splendid and breathtaking nature among the vast landscape of the Vietnam North West mountains and forests.
