This is the project to turn several streets in the Old Quarter into gastronomy streets to highlight the characteristics of the Ha Noi’s special cuisine.
The streets in the project include: Hang Buom, Hang Giay, Ma May, Ta Hien, Luong Ngoc Quyen and Dao Duy Tu. The restaurants in these streets are encouraging to create traditional Hanoi dishes. This project has also helped restaurants improve hygiene and food safety. In the project sellers will be trained in selling skill courses.
Visitors after take a walking and go shopping in the city of Hang Dao – Dong Xuan or visiting tourists, staying at the Old Quarter of Hanoi can enjoy traditional cuisine at these streets .
The project streets will be connected to the pedestrian area in the Old Quarter. According to Mr. Mai Tien Dung, deputy director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ha Cabinet: “Regional expansion space walk in the old town is to connect with Tong Duy Tan street food or food operators in some streets there are many famous dishes such as Hang Buom, Ta Hien, Dao Duy Tu… to serve guests dining needs, relax after sightseeing, shopping.
