It is possible to go to Vung Tau by buying ticket at all car station of provinces. Notice that you should go to the Station one day before to find out ticket prices, type of car (typical or luxury), duration for running.
Only for Ho Chi Minh city, besides passenger cars, it also has submarine routes Saigon – Vung Tau. When you are available in Vung Tau, you could rent motorcycle, two seats bicycle or taxi to discovery the city.
# Travel by motorcycle or personal car
There are many routes to Ba Ria – Vung Tau, but two main routes are from T-junction Vung Tau (highway 20) or from Phan Thiet, Phan Giang.

# Which reason you should travel?
Except months of September, October or raining days because the sea water is changed color to quite opaque, so it is not suitable for swimming and sightseeing. For the remaining months, the sea is always beautiful, wild and charming.
# Accommodation
Density of hotel, hostel is quite thick so there are competitive price in Vung Tau city. You could rent hostel with price of 80,000 – 500,000 Vietnam Dong. Should rent hotel, hostel on Hoang Hoa Tham road. You should book the room on Saturday, Sunday or holidays.
Particularly in Ba Ria, you could spend the night in camping at the resort, with the price of 55,000 Dong/person; Rent hostel at Ba To town or Binh Chau town with price of 200,000 Dong. # Eating and shopping
The most famous dishes in Vung Tau are seafood and Khot cake.
