Doc Let beach – A charming beach of Khanh Hoa province

Doc Let Beach is situated on the Ninh Hoa coastal area, 50km north of Nha Trang. This lovely stretch of beachfront is long and wide, with chalk-white sand and shallow water. Doc Let (pronounced ‘yop lek’) is easily accessible from Nha Trang, and worth considering as a day trip (beach entrance fee VND 10,000) or overnight stop. Although there’s a small town nearby, the resorts on the beach are fairly isolated. If you’re staying here, be prepared to do nothing but lay around.

The long white sand dunes rise tens of meters above pine trees. Beyond the dunes is the 10km wonderful beach with pure blue clear sea-water and thousands of waves tapping ashore. Here, visitors will have a chance to visit a traditional fishing village, Hon Khoi salt-fields, Heo Mount – a former revolutionary base dotted with glorious military victories of Khanh Hoa’s people in two wars of resistance against the French and American aggressors.
