The ancient town of Hoi An on February got the Top City in the World award voted by Wanderlust Magazine’s readers at a ceremony.
The ancient town won by gaining 97.18% of satisfaction rating among nearly 3,000 voters.
Speaking at the ceremony, Le Van Giang, Chairman of the Hoi An City People’s Committee, stressed that the city has spared no effort to improve its services and facility in order to maintain reputation as an attractive destination for domestic and international tourists.
Hoi An was recognised as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999.
